An app needs to be downloaded, kept updated and approved by two app stores; a website is one tap from a search result or an ad. For many businesses the right order is a strong mobile-friendly website first, then an app once regular customers would benefit from one.
Store accounts and releases
Developer accounts with Google and Apple are opened in your name, so the app is listed under your business. Their annual and transaction fees are charged by those companies directly.
