How we built Biizay: a multi-tenant platform that gives each business a store, a website, a point of sale and bookings from one account.

The client

Biizay is a commerce platform for businesses in Pakistan and the Gulf that sell online and in person.

What they needed

Small businesses were stitching together a website from one provider, a store from another and a till from a third, then reconciling them by hand. Biizay puts all of it in one account, so stock, orders and customers live in one place.

What we built

  • A multi-tenant platform: every business gets its own site on its own domain
  • An online store with products, variants, bundles and quote-only services
  • A visual drag-and-drop page builder and theme system
  • A point of sale that sells from the same stock as the website
  • Bookings and service jobs, quotations, purchasing, expenses and reports
  • Plans and entitlements, so each business pays for the scale it uses

Under the hood

Behind the product is the infrastructure to run it for many businesses at once: automated deployment, per-tenant custom domains with automatic TLS certificates, nightly backups with a weekly restore drill, monitoring and alerting, and hosted business email. Several projects in this portfolio — and this website — run on it.

See it live

The project is live at biizay.com. The services involved: custom web application development, e-commerce development and hosting and maintenance. Planning something similar? Tell us about it, or browse the rest of our work.
